Shiv-ling

Science believe that atom is the smallest particle of any matter even positron , neutrino,.....etc are known .

In my opinion, Shiv-ling is just a symbol of God in which middle bulged part is as nucleus and outer part is as shell/orbit of electron in an atom.

Actually whole universe or nature is comprised of different types of matter and matter is comprised of different atoms.So we can tell that whole nature is an atom or vice-versa. Similarly  our solar system also behave as an atom where sun is as a nucleus .

Hence Shiv-ling symbolizes atom or nature as God.
